也没有全面跟踪工作证类型和索赔结果。从2019年起,所有不当解雇索赔必须首先经过争议管理三方联盟的调解。只有在调解不成功的情况下,索赔才会被提交至雇佣纠纷索偿庭(ECT)进行裁决。
从2019年到2023年,WP和SP 准证持有者提出了约400起不当解雇索赔(即每年约 80 起)。其中,约50%最终被工人撤回,40% 通过调解成功解决,10% 在雇佣纠纷索偿庭(ECT)上得到裁决。在裁决的案件中,约30%的裁决对工人有利。在此过程中,工人的追索权可以包括金钱补偿、将员工的解雇转为辞职或雇主向员工提供服务证明。
我们没有追踪在提出不当解雇索赔后找到另一份工作的工人人数。

35 Mr Gerald Giam Yean Song asked the Minister for Manpower (a) how many wrongful termination cases have been filed by work permit or S Pass holders in the last 10 years; (b) in how many of such cases were the workers successful in their appeals; (c) for successful cases, what redress has been offered to the workers; and (d) whether the majority of such workers have been allowed to continue working in Singapore.
